Is it an effective way to help improving reading ability by writing a learning sheet after reading?
Writing down the feeling after reading perhaps an effective way to improve the reading and writing abilities at the same time because it can prove that we really understand what the books talked about.
There is still a problem that the questions on the learning sheet may restrict or hinder thinking. That is to say, it may obstruct our creation. The original intention to design the learning sheet is making learning interesting, but it can be an opposite result because it makes reading become a kind of pressure.
On the other hand, we can’t absolutely deny the effects writing after reading. If we modify the questions on the learning sheet, it can be useful to promote writing ability. While reading, we can memorize the words the author used, and it can help us using accurate words to depict what we want to talk. Besides, it is a complex process from reading to expressing, hence try to write the idea and feeling is a good way to train our logical thinking. The idea is quite important for making a good composition, because the purpose of writing is to express your own idea. If we can train ourselves to think logically, it can make our composition well organized and fluent.
To conclude, when we read, we can learn the rhetoric, the logical process, and the attitude of the author. After reading, we can try to think some question on the learning sheet. It not only can help us to think, but also improve our writing skill. The learning sheet is a useful tool for helping improving writing skill.

You seem to hold positive attitudes about this topic, but I have the following questions:
1. Is writing the learning sheet after reading (what?) a useful way to help all students improving reading ability? Are there any differences between young children and college students or between learners at a lower level and those at a higher level?
2. Are there different types of learning sheets? Please explain and provide examples.
3. What motivates you to write about this topic? Did you read some reports or watch some videos?
As what the professor has mentioned here, maybe you could try to present different formats of different learning sheets so that you can compare how theses differences make a difference on the efficiency of people’s learning. Also, it would be great if you could separate people of different ages into several groups and examine how differently they respond to learning sheet. Perhaps you can even interview people and ask for their opinions or experiences in regarding of learning sheet so that your pepper could be convincing.
Somtimes writing too much laerning sheet really can obstruct our thinking.Because we would follow the thinking of the author or the authorities. We children shold have more new stimulations. Some more creative thoughts. I think creation is what I get less in my learning jorney.
I think there are many writer having shared their reading-writing experiences in their books. Like Roland Barthe or someone like that. (Sorry, I am not familiar to them) And since you are student of Chinese, maybe you can try to examplify by sharing some very famous or not so well-known Chinese writer or critics, not matter in ancien times or contemporaire days. It is going to be interesting.
